Project Description
The Mile High Flood District (MHFD) and the City and County of Denver (CCD) are developing an outfall system plan (OSP) to address stormwater challenges in the Valverde Basin which includes sections of the Valverde, Ruby Hill, Westwood, Athmar Park, and Barnum neighborhoods.
This plan seeks to protect the homes and lives of the Valverde Basin community by addressing current and future stormwater challenges. By enhancing flood resilience, it will create safer, more connected, and livable neighborhoods.
The OSP will come from a detailed technical analysis and robust community engagement strategy, where residents are involved throughout the process.
